Divine Word College of Calapan Online Community is administered and provided by Kimzel Technology Solutions.

This is my way of giving back to the institutions where I was developed as a person. (Gary Bacarra – High School Batch 1992 and BS Computer Science Bath 1997)

HISTORY

The first website I started was 1998; URL address is http://www.the-alumni-of-the-dwcc.com.ph, where we had a few or something as 48 members. It runs for almost 4 years without any development. It was a decision to shut down this website due to financial difficulties. Kimzel Technology Solutions was then establish with its brand name as Horae Technology Inc.

In this turn of event, I created a Yahoo Group to actually reach out with my other co-alumni. This is where all communications were sent via email to the group members. But it didn’t work out because this is the time were spamming are widespread on the internet. This is also the time where we need to give up Horae Technology Inc. (http://www.horae.com)

On 2002, Open Source Application started, it is where PHP are now becoming the popular server-side scripting language. It is where wordpress, Joomla and other open source CMS application are introduce.

In 2007, http://www.dwccalumni.org was introduced to the world wide web. It has 240 member before it was shut-down due to hosting issues with the hosting provider. DWCC graduates are now starting to join in this community website. But midyear of 2009 when it was shut-down.

It is plan to release the Divine Word College of Calapan Community website(http://mydwcc.com) on the internet by April of 2010.
